Twirl in Hillcrest…. what can I say but… fabulous… fantastic… ooo-la-la. I’ve walked by this boutique numerous times but just never went in. I was pleasantly surprised when I did actually walk thru the door. This place is great! I felt instantly welcomed by not only the staff but the welcoming interior. Everything was so pretty. They have a nice selection of dresses, handbags, accessories– anything at all to make dressing for a special occasion a true pleasure.

I was in heaven the whole time I was in here. Twirl stocks a color-coordinated variety of adorable dresses, shorts, pencil skirts and accessories all at pretty amazing prices. The clothes range from about $15-$40+ and definitely worth it. Here is a random selection of what I saw:

Almost makes me homesick for San Diego. (The key word there was “almost.”) My Aunt Dorothy lived just outside of San Diego and whenever I visited, she had so much work for me to do around her house, I never got to see all of the good shopping experiences that were available. My memories of San Diego are about washing windows and putting up the screens. No time for cute shops like Twirl.

You are right there were some flirty dresses. On the short side- ha.
There are so many fun things to do in San Diego. Better than cleaning- ha. However, I’ve been having a bigger social life lately and perhaps need to revisit some housework myself this weekend. I’m doubtful I’ll be mopping the kitchen floor if it’s 75 degrees and sunny tomorrow. Cheers and Happy Saturday!
